What has happened to the Educational System across America? At one point in time, nearly all colleges in the country were Christian based. What exactly caused the separation between higher education and the Christian faith?
With the government being more active in the educational system in the 19th century, the separation of school and church began. It was during this time that a radical secular spirit arose, encouraging the separation even more. The early 20th century brought upon the Modernist Fundamentalist Controversies, which resulted in the complete separation of faith and education in all Universities across America. Professors were no longer allowed to spread the message of God through the teaching of art, humanities, sciences, or religious classes.
It is unbelievable to put these facts into perspective. What is happening to our country? Have we forgotten that our country was founded upon the word of God? We now have to attend a private college, a Bible college, a church related college, or a Christian liberal arts college to have an integration of church and education. Of the 3,600 institutions of higher learning, only 800 remain related to the church. That is not a very good ratio if you ask me.

Red sox vs. Tampa Bay

The Boston Red Sox head to Tampa Bay on the 10th to take on the Rays, beginning the series to decide who goes to the World Series out of the American Leage. This should be a great series for both Red Sox and Tampa Bay fans.
GO Rays!
For the National League we have Los Angeles heading to Philadelphia.
Brewers fans, I'm sorry but your beermakers are done

Sorry Chicago, Maybe next year.
Last ditch effort for Whitesox and Brew Crew
The Whitesox take on the Dodgers down 2-0 in the series in Los Angeles. Things are not looking for for you Chicago fans.
The Brewers take on Philadelphi in Milwaukee. The brewers are also down in the series and face being knocked out of the playoffs if they lose this game.
Red Sox are looking Good. All they need is one more win against the Angels to seal the deal in their division.

White Sox vs. Twins
The Whitesox defeated the Twins tonight in a 1-0 pitchers dual. Jim Thome hit a go go ahead homerun in the bottom of the 7th inning off of Nick Blackburn to give the Whitesox just enough to take the win over the Minnesota Twins. Whitesox closer Bobby Jenks came in to close the door in the top of the 9th and did just that, topping out at 99 miles per hour. White Sox stater Dent gets the win. Sorry Minnesota, your Twins are done.
Mets season comes to an end.

The New York Mets playoff run comes to an end after an ugly game taking a 4-2 loss to the Florida Marlins. Although Los Angels lost to San Francisco, they are still in the race and are in my opinion looking good, with the management of Joe Torre. They will head to Chicago to play the Cubs tomorrow and risk being knocked out. The Milwaukee Brewers are heading to Philadelphia for a three game series as they battle it out for the wild card in the National League.
As for the American league, Tampa Bay is looking GREAT, but Boston is right there only two games back. The Redsox meet the Angels in Los Angeles tomorrow for a great matchup. Chicago and Minnesota play tonight. The Arizona Diamond Backs are done.
